Katie Koenig
Principal
Katie Koenig has been the Principal of AldenStuart since 2022, a boutique consulting and advisory firm that focuses on strategy facilitation, strategic org design, strategy consulting and executive coaching. From 2016 through 2022, Katie was the Chief Transformation Officer and Chief Strategy Officer of ATI Physical Therapy, the largest single-branded PT company in the US. Prior to joining ATI, she built and led strategy and transformation functions at two large academic medical centers, University of Chicago Medicine and University of North Carolina. Katie also worked at the Boston Consulting Group where she led multiple organizational design, strategic planning and operational efficiency engagements across the health care, travel and tourism, finance and education sectors. Throughout her leadership roles, Katie has focused on solving hard problems, leveraging cross-functional teams, thinking creatively, and driving lasting impact.
Katie serves on the Board of Prelude Music Foundation, a non-profit that provides early childhood music education to underserved areas of Houston. She also served as the Chair of the Board of Directors of Chicago Run, a non-profit serving youth in underserved areas in Chicago, from 2022-2024. She served as Chair of the Governance Committee of Chicago Run's Board of Directors from 2019-2023.
Katie received her BA from the University of Pennsylvania, where she graduated cum laude, and received her MBA from Duke University where she graduated with honors. She has completed executive coach training through the Center for Executive Coaching and the Co-Active Training Institute. Additionally, she has achieved certification in organizational design from Cornell University and completed training from The Wharton School in Corporate Governance.
Katie is a passionate outdoor enthusiast and nature photographer. She leads a weekly 40-mile road biking ride every Saturday for the Trek store in Houston and is also a certified spin instructor. Outside of work, she enjoys reading and spending time with her family, which includes five dogs.

Luiz Furlan
Luiz is a seasoned operator and delivery leader, with 15+ years of experience in the healthcare and financial services sectors. His expertise spans across strategy, transformation, and program/project delivery.
Luiz has worked with multiple Fortune100 companies, including Discover Card, Fidelity Investments, Blue Cross Blue Shield of IL, and Walgreens. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Transformation & Enterprise PMO at ATI Physical Therapy.
Luiz holds an Executive MBA from Kellogg School of Management and holds multiple professional certifications. Luiz also serves as a faculty member at DePaul University.
Outside of work, he is a devoted family man who loves traveling, exploring new cuisines, and appreciating a well-brewed espresso.

Carrie Valencia
Carrie has 20+ years of experience in strategy, transformation, consulting, project management and operations. Her expertise spans the healthcare, technology, non-profit and financial services sectors.
Most recently, Carrie was Managing Director at a midsize technology consultancy, leading her team and clients through a challenging acquisition process. Her prior roles include Vice President of Transformation at ATI Physical Therapy, Executive Director of Strategy Implementation at University of Chicago Medicine, and Managing Consultant at Capgemini Consulting.
Carrie holds a BBA from the University of Wisconsin Madison and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. In addition, she holds certifications in Project Management Strategy and Organizational Design.
When not at work, you can find her hiking with her dog, practicing yoga or exploring the many culinary delights of Chicago.

Diana Yu
Diana has over a decade of experience advising and investing in Fortune 500 companies, nonprofits, and startups.
Prior to joining AldenStuart, Diana was an investor at Millennium Management, specializing in healthcare companies. She has also held strategy and operating roles at companies including the Boston Consulting Group, the University of Chicago Medicine, and Eden - a SF based series B startup.
Diana holds a BA from Northwestern University where she graduated magna cum laude, and an MBA in Marketing and Finance from the Kellogg School of Management where she was an Austin Scholar and graduated with distinction.
Outside of work, Diana enjoys trying new recipes, playing volleyball, and going on adventures with her husband and daughter.
